The charity is a community of Discalced Carmelite Friars who live in Carmelite Community, Boars Hill Oxford. The Friars devote themselves to a life of prayer, the fruits of which they share in the form retreats, spiritual direction, book service for Carmelite literature and publishing a quarterly spiritual review.

The charity is divided into three branches:The general charity contributes exclusively to the benefit of the inhabitants of Felsham. The church charity contributes exclusively to the repair and maintenance of St Peter's Church, Felsham. The bread charity benefits the poor and necessitous people of Felsham according to circumstances.

The Society is a conservation, preservation and amenity organisation operating in and around Brighton and Hove. It is a membership organisation. We regularly review and often comment upon planning applications that affect our area.
