The Howe Trust (Wheatley) provides small grants for local people in need, and care for 26 acres of land. The agricultural land, known collectively as The Howe, includes some 100 allotments, an orchard and memorial tree area as well as grassland, hedgerows and woodland. Working with other local and charitable organisations, we manage the land for biodiversity and the benefit of the community.

Half net income to St. Mary's Church, Brixton, for upkeep, repair, insurance. The charity is responsible for the RSPCA Brighton Animal Shelter, which provides care, veterinary treatment and rehoming for unwanted domestic animals, including reptiles. The Shelter has a first aid and holding unit for injured wildlife. Over 3000 animals are cared for at the Shelter each year.
