TO HAVE AVAILABLE A HALL AND FACILITIES FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES WHICH INCLUDES DANCE TEACHING, EXERCISE CLASSES, THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS, MONTHLY CHURCH SERVICE, RESIDENTS MEETINGS, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES.

A Village Pre School for children ages 2 to 5 years,

Provision of Hall and Recreation Ground for use by all local Clubs and Societies and the general public.

Village Hall, used for Weddings, parties, dances, meetings, sports i.e. soft bowls, badminton, Keep Fit , dancing, Charity lunches and dinner, lectures,

to manage the Village Hall according to its Constitution,ensuring that the Hall is properly maintained & financially viable to serve as an amenity principally for the residents of Coombe Bissett & Homington but also for outside agencies & individuals. The Hall is in frequent use throughout the year by our Village organisations & others for social functions,meetings,weddings,craft activities etc.

We have maintained a good balance between our plans for improvements to our premises associated facilities, cash flow and fund raising with concentration on leadership and recruitment.

We are part of the national Scouting organisation providing scouting activities to boys and girls aged 6 - 29 years old.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. The Wiltshire North District Scout Council supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups across North Wiltshire to encourage the young people to do more, learn more and be more.
