The Charity runs the community bulding for the use of the residents of the Parish of Waldringfield. The hall offers wonderful modern facilities for all sorts of activities of various groups in the village for the residents of the village. The charity is responsible for the day to day running, maintenance and compliance of the building on behalf of the community.

Sea Cadets aims to teach youths between the ages of 10-18years various skills and provide an awareness of discipline. To this end TS St Edmunds meets twice a week with about 30 youths attending they teach the cadets seamanship and other skills. The unit also provide sail training locally and cadets have the opportunity to attend various National Courses.

BCA is principally involved in providing a Community Hall to accommodate the activities of its Constituent Groups, as well as providing space for other activities of interest to the residents of Banstead and the surrounding areas both through local charities and on a commercial basis. Churt Village Hall is run and maintained to provide a focus for the local community to meet its social and recreational needs. A variety of activities are undertaken principally by and for the benefit of members of the village. However, the Hall is open to and embraces wider usage from the surrounding populace and elsewhere.

We are a youth organization for children between to ages of 10 and 18. We are a unit in the Sea Cadets and follow the Sea Cadet rules and regulations. Our actives include canoing, sailing, pulling (rowing), drill, camping, swimming, entering competitions for those actives mentioned and many other things.

The Sea Cadets is nationwide voluntary youth organisation, open to young people aged 12 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age, run by qualified adult volunteers. Its aim is to provide Cadets with structured training so they can progress towards good citizenship, as well as achieve nationally recognized qualifications.
