SCOUTING FOR BOYS AND GIRLS OF ALL AGES

Transcription and publication in volume form of Lancashire parish registers from the 16th,17th and early 18th centuries up to the mid 19th century. Publication of some on CDs and re-publication on CD of early volumes which are no longer available.

Hire of Village Hall to local groups and individual users. Hall is available for weddings, private parties etcetera.

Our group consists of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts & Explorers between the ages of 6-18 years old. The children come to weekly meetings where we do badge work, play games and have camping weekends. We do charity work eg fundraising for various charties and support our church in fundraising St Francis Feniscliffe who are our sponsors

The Centre is situated on the Market Place, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.The Centre is accessible to large parts of the community, at present we currently have approx 700 visitors per week to the centre.
