Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care (Phyllis Tuckwell Memorial Hospice Ltd) provides specialist supportive and end of life care to adult patients, their carers and families, living with an advanced or terminal illness, including cancer, neurological conditions, heart and lung disease, etc

The charity runs a day centre for disabled people open two days each week throughout the year. Various activities are organised, including a programme of outings during the summer months. The charity owns a mini-bus and provides transport for members. The day centre building and minibus have also been used by other groups of disabled people such as the Stroke Club, St Raphaels etc.

Sportability provides sport and challenging pursuits for people with all forms of paralysis - spinal cord injury, stroke, M.S etc. Activities include micro-light flying, gliding, sailing, canoeing, quad-biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, BloKart sailing, wheelchair tennis, falconry and more.
