TO PROMOTE MUSIC WITHIN THE LOCAL AND WIDER COMMUNITY THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF CONCERTS AND OTHER EVENTS, THEREBY EXTENDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC MAKING AND CREATIVITY.

Fund raising for school

Southport Photographic Society aims to advance the education of the public in the theory and practice of photography as an art. To further this aim the Society organises:(i) public exhibitions of photographs, photographic art and apparatus. (ii) public lectures and demonstrations of all aspects of photography. (iii) public outings to places of photograhic interest.

As one of the world's leading presenting theatres it aims to be world-class in every respect: to present a wide-ranging, high quality, developing programme, to ensure access for all, to develop a growing & diverse audience & to complement this with a range of creative education & outreach events.

Religious activities

Established to form an ongoing part of the life and work of the cathedral and to assist in its fund-raising for the development of the cathedral's life and worship, the improvement of its facilities and the maintenance and restoration of its buildings.

The choir rehearses weekly and performs in public approximately 10 times each year. In so doing we are able to improve the musical knowledge and abilities of our members, foster public appreciation of choral music, and raise money for charitable musical causes.

The objects of the society shall be to educate the public in the Arts and Sciences, and in particular the Art and Science of Music, in the promotion of concerts and other activities.

The Choir's primary aim is to bring to West Wales, live performances of great choral music, music that audiences would otherwise have to travel long distances at considerable expense to hear.

Supporting Scouting in the Rushcliffe District

Provides facilities for village organisations to meet e.g. Keele Parish Council, Keele Garden Club, fitness groups, Keele Parish Church meetings, wedding receptions, birthday parties, funeral wakes etc.

Sport/recreation

The trust says that the premises shall be for the purpose of physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Austwick and its immediate vicinity. The charity serves the local community by maintaining the trust premises and equipment to provide both a meeting place and opportunities for diverse groups and activities.

The Guide Association as part of a world wide movement enables girls and young women to fulfil their full potential to take an active role in todays society through its distintive stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities indoors and outdoors delivered by trained volunteers.
