Leasowes Extra is a school based setting which provides nursery education and childcare for pre-school children through the EYFS curriculum and before and after school provision for all the children who attend Leasowes Primary School. It also provides financial support to the school for additional resources and facilities which help to advance learning and improve learning outcomes for all.

The Chamber Music festival provides several concerts a year at a Festival usually at the end of March. They also give a "friends of the Festival" special concert at the end of the year.During the year the artists visit local primary schools and care homes to give presentations and educational experiences to children and elderly people. A Men's Shed is a community project with the aim of promoting men's health and wellbeing through social interaction and practical activity particularly in retirement. This comprises of a communal workshop, based in Pembroke Dock, where the men can come together to work on individual or community projects, all within a safe and friendly environment.

Provision of youth services and training

Connecting Communities is a non-profit charity which promotes social inclusion and provides social relief to people in the local Swindon Community. We carry out this mission through events that celebrate diversity and fundraisers that engage and mobilise different racial and religious groups. We aim to work with local charities where possible to maximise our impact.

Social evenings, with refreshments, are held monthly. Members discuss issues they face, including impact of current affairs, for support alongside seminars on topics such as Mental Health. Weekly yoga classes take place to support the physical and general wellbeing of members.

Volunteer pilots take local elders and care/nursing homes residents out on trishaw cycle rides to feel the wind in their hair. The charity is committed to bringing generations closer together using special trishaws, to foster better community relationships and improve the quality of life of the guests. We are a brass band that plays for community activities in the Peak District (carnivals, well dressings, Garland ceremonies etc.). We have a training section that provides free music tuition to aspiring brass players of all ages.

Stable Lives provides support to military veterans, blue light workers, young people and their families who are dealing with the effects of exposure to mental trauma. We use land based activities and teach people how to interact with horses rehabilitated from physical and mental abuse to rebuild confidence, self esteem and self worth, this is done within respite days and courses.
