We enjoy worshipping God together, Bible study, being active and serving the community, as well as sharing together as God works in the lives of his people and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time. The church is active in running our own project, The ARK. This facility is used twice weekly as a drop-in coffee shop/cafe and is used frequently for youth projects.

St Petrocs provides services in support of people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, including outreach, resettlement, emergency accommodation and supported accommodation. We provide access to advice, support, and medical services at our resource centres and have a counselling service. We also have an employment and training programme for our residents.

St. Mary's is a vibrant local Anglican church in Purley on Thames, Reading. We have a heart for mission and service. Sunday worship is at the heart of who we are. To provide transport facilities in the Furness peninsula and South Lakes areas for people who have special needs of such facilities because they are elderly, poor or disabled, people with young children, or living (or staying) in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities.
