We are a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly social environment. We draw on the skills, knowledge and experience of our members to provide interest groups in accordance with the wishes of our members.

Advancing the education of students aged 9 to 18 being students who are the victim of bullying or by reason of other emotional trauma or illness are unable to attend mainstream school by providing tuition and appropriate support for them in a safe learning environment until they are ready to return to mainstream education and employment.

Malawi Orphan Fund primarily raises funds in the UK to support the work of Mchinji Children's Home in Malawi, also known as the Home of Hope, Malawi.

We run two community based time banks which meet everyday needs through sharing time, skills and opportunities. Participants help out in their local community, using their skills to provide services for others. Every hour participating earns one credit that can be used to access support from other participants.We also run timebanking and Peer maths mentoring in prisons.

We provide specialist outreach service to an extremely socially isolated and vulnerable group of women - street sex workers. The Fitzrovia Neighbourhood Association has been working since 1975 to relieve poverty, and improve the environment and living conditions of all who live and work in Fitzrovia, an area in Central London with a diverse population, straddling London boroughs of Camden and Westminster. We run a CLS Quality Mark accredited advice service in English and Asian languages, and health and arts initiatives.

The charity operates a day centre for adults with complex physical and learning disabilities within Carlisle. The charity also runs four shops which generate an income from donations that are sold on. The charity receives grant income on behalf of individuals in the community.
