Education of older members of society

The club organises fund raising events to generate finances to support charities and participates in charitable activities.

The Charity manages a loved listed building that houses useful functions such as; a community halls, nursery, cafe, doctors surgery and office space for businesses and charities. With surpluses from rent income it provides cheap use of the halls to small community initiatives, directly runs mental health and elderly projects and provides a corporate umbrella for developing community groups.

The object of the PTFA is to advance the education of the children attending the school. In furtherance of this goal, the PTFA engages in fundraising events and other activities to support the development of the pupils, to provide funds for educational items and facilities, and to encourage extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

TO PROVIDE A SPECIALIST PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICE FOR PATIENTS WITH SPECIFIC LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES LIVING IN THE AREA COVERED BY WREXHAM HOSPITALS AND TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES IN A CARING ENVIRONMENT. THE ACTIVITIES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN BY A SPECIALIST TRAINED MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM WHO WILL PROVIDE SYMPTOM CONTROL, ASSESSMENT, TERMINAL CARE, ONGOING EMOTIONAL AND BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT + EDUCATION

Kentish Opera's purpose is to educate the public in the operatic arts to further the development of public appreciation and taste in said arts. To do so, we perform opera and operetta in English in traditional productions with professional soloists and professional orchestra. In 2022/23 we performed Yeomen of the Guard and presented a Gala opera event.

It offers lectures/talks on a regular basis. It also provides opportunities to take part in groups which pursue various educational, cultural, recreational, physical and social activities.

The principal objectives and activities of the Society are:--+? to provide services to women for the relief of endometriosis,--+? to advance the education of the general public and health professionals regarding endometriosis --+? to promote research into the disease

The Rotary Club of Shipston on Stour's Charity Account is a statement of the monies raised by voluntary contributions from fundraising activities organised by the Club.The net proceeds from which are donated to nominated local and international charities and good causes.

Ashley YFC is part of the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, a rural youth Organisation for anyone aged between 10 and 28 years of age. The Club meet regularly in and around the Ashley District and organise a varied programme of events including sports, training, talks, discos and balls to name just a few!

Childcare

Care and education of 2 - 5 yr olds in line with the EYFS, raise funds to purchase equipment, xmas and leaving presents etc.We also undertake fundraising for other charities i.e. Barnardo's, Children in Need, Rehouse to Rehome

The purpose of A.E.M. is to bring the Christian Gospel to the Albanian-speaking people, principally but not exclusively in the Balkans. To aid this purpose, we translate and publish selected Christian literature. We also make the work known among Christian churches and individuals in the UK, looking to them for prayerful and financial support.

Scouting activities for children and young people, Both male and female, in Hamworthy/Turlin Moor areas of Poole, Dorset.The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The main activities of the College is the provision of creative craft courses

1) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Patchway without discrimination by associating together the inhabitants and local organisations in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities for recreation and leisure-time with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.2) To maintain and manage a Community Centre in furtherance of these objects.

The Chichester Symphony Orchestra usually performs 3 concerts a year, one in Spring, the Festivities concert in July, and another late autumn/winter concert. The orchestra has also collaborated with other local musical societies including the St Richard Singers and The Chichester Amateur Operatic Society.

To renovate and adapt the de-consecrated and derelict St. Paul's Church, Islington, a grade 2* listed building, to provide educational facilities which are occupied by the St. Paul's Steiner School and to provide a community space.

Orchard park preschool thrive's on watching the children develop from small little children to independant young people getting ready to start their next journey to primary school.Orchard Park Preschool is run by professional staff who are all trained to at least a level 3 qualification.

Raising Funds for Rawdon St Peter's C of E School

GDF is a London based organisation with a national reputation committed to achieving excellence in outdoor arts. GDF aims to raise the ambition, quality and diversity of outdoor performance in the UK through pioneering commissioning and programming activities, which take risks and breaks new ground for outdoor arts, engaging large and diverse audiences including many first time arts attenders.

Forward Arts Foundation promotes the enjoyment, discovery and sharing of poetry, celebrating excellence in poetry and widening its audience. Our annual programmes include National Poetry Day, the Forward Prizes for Poetry and the Forward Books of Poetry.

We are a church operating in and serving North Walsham and the surrounding areas. We carry out regular church activities - church services and so on - as well as running an assortment of social activities, children's and youth groups. We are also involved in other various activities such as counselling, particularly pregnancy crisis and bereavement counselling.

The London Oriana Choir is recognised as one of Britain's leading amateur choirs, known for its high standards, broad repertoire and the vibrant energy of its performances. BENEVOLENCETo provide financial assistance for veterans of the three Services who served in Normandy, France during WW2 and their dependants who are in need.EDUCATIONTo increase the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the general public concerning those events leading up to and beyond the Normandy Campaign and their historical significance.

We provide sessional day care for children between the ages of 2 years until they start school. Our sessions last 3.0 hours and we look after up to 27 children in any one session. We are a member of the Preschool Learning Alliance and are Ofsted inspected.

We aim to provide quality care and education within a safe and stimulating environment that promotes social, emotional, intellectual and physical well-being.

We provide accommodation for Christian people at a reasonable rent. Along with this we provide help to the Baptist Chapel at Mayfield for the continued preaching of the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
