Gypsies and Travellers Wales provides an extensive information, advice and liaison service to Gypsies and Travellers, the Local Authority and all relevant agencies and professionals. The Organisation also runs specific issue based projects: an IT-based Driving Theory course, provides IT & Literacy skills sessions, Employment skills workshops and weekly Youth activities sessions.

We provide sessional care for children aged 2 - 5 years giving them an opportunity to develop in a stimulating environment and preparing them for full time education.

Norton Pre school provides formal pre school education for children aged 2 -5 and an informal carer and toddler group.We are ofsted inspected and receive early Years funding.We are members of the Pre school Learning Alliance.Norton Pre school is run by a committee of volunteers, but on an increasingly professional basis.

The provision of residential and nursing care to the residents of Charlotte Straker House along with the maintenance of accommodation in the form of bungalows/flats which provide independent living to the occupants.

The object of the charity is to promote agriculture and to such end generally improve it in all branches and to encourage skill and industry in it and in all trades, crafts and professions connected with it. The principal activity of the charity is to promote the Southwell and District Annual Ploughing Match and Agricultural Show.

The Charity provides relief to children and adults suffering from any chronic or life limiting illness, via the provision of residential hospice care, day care, education, training and support for patients and their families (or other carers), provided both within the organisation and in the community. Noah's Ark Nursery Group has been at the heart of Bures village life since 1971, providing quality affordable care and education for local pre-school children. We offer a safe and stimulating environment with a focus on play-centered activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
