The management of Compton Martin Village Hall which offers a community base for well established and innovative user groups both within the community and the surrounding area. Our hall hire fees to these groups provides the primary source of income.The trustees hold fund raising events to augment this letting income. This supports the long term aim of maintaining the fabric of the hall.

VILLAGE HALL FOR COMMUNITY USE

The Selwyn (Village) Hall is held upon trust for the purposes of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Box, Wiltshire without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Village Hall provides a facility for the local community, which is used by clubs, child care groups, local theatrical group, senior citzens and many other organisations.

The principle activity of the charity is to provide a building and open space for residents of the parish of Collingbourne Kingston, Wiltshire, to have use of at reasonable charges. The building can be used by non-village residents if not required for use by village residents and organisations.

We are a meeting place for many local clubs and facilities such as Fitness classes,Martial arts classes,WI, Yoga, Art classes,RAOB lodge and Parish Council meetings. We also take bookings for birthday parties and other such private and community events.

We welcome children & young people, the elderly, people with disabilities, and everyone in our local community and around. We provide a venue for celebrations, exercise, for groups to meet, and a place to relax and enjoy the company of others. Our hall offers facilities for preparing and cooking food, a bar area, a stage for public performance, and a space for dance.

To promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

The Group's main activity is Scouting for both males and females from the age of 6 to the age of 14

The Groups four sections, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorers are for children aged between 6 & 18. Activities include sailing, kayaking, powerboating, rowing, swimming, hill walking, camping, archery, lifeskills and many more which are contained within the Scout progress awards.

The provision of indoor and outdoor activities for young people aged 6-18 years, which will aid healthy development of both minds and bodies. Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday evenings, during school term times, for Beavers (6-8 years) and Cubs (9-10.5 years). Weekly meetings are held on Friday evenings, during school term times, for Scouts (10.5 - 14years) and Explorers (14-18years).

The objectives of 1st Molesey Scout Group are as a unit of the Scout Association. The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

2nd Molesey (St Paul's) Scout Group main activities are to give a challenging and enjoyable programm for 6yrs old to 18year old members. All activities are regulated by the Scout Association by its Policy Organisation & Rules. (PORs)

The 5th Reigate Scout Group is registered with the Scout Association, whose aim is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential. The Group aims to achieve this by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, with a programme for Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts.

The main activities under taken by the Salisbury & South Wilts District Scout Council is to promote Scouting to young people between the ages of 6 - 25 as per the Scout Association's Policy and Rules. Girlguiding South West England provides a range of activities and opportunities for girls and young women aged from 5 years to adult in Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey.

It provides information about conflict research through the website and brings together academics and practitioners for an annual conference on conflict and peace research.

The School which is a boarding and day preparatory school, for both boys and girls, exists to provide children between the ages of three and thirteen with an all-round education of the very highest quality. The school continues to prepare children for Common Entrance and Senior Independent School Scholarships and to ensure that each child has a full extra-curricular programme.
