YMM provides a Saturday music school mainly for children but welcomes students of all ages. This charity runs "Meadowside" a residential home for up to 11 residents with varying degrees of learning and/or physical disabilities, which has been their home for up to 30 years. Respite Care is also provided. Social events are also organised for the members, including those from the wider community.

The ECITB is an industry training board accountable to the Dep't for Education. It has statutory responsibility for the development of the GB engineering construction workforce.
