Restore & preserve the Steam Tug 'Brent' of 1945, as an example of London's dockland heritage & to sail her in U.K & European waters. Brent is based for public view on the waterfront at Maldon Essex. As a museum ship she is open to the public 10 -16 times a year. Currently a static exhibit, the trustees and a group of volunteers are restoring her to enable her to steam again.

Provision of items, services and facilities for Netley Abbey Infant and Junior Schools and the advancemant of education of children and young people under the age of 25 resident in the parish of Hound.

Our catchphrase is "Community support for those living with dementia". We provide a fortnightly Cafe for dementia sufferers and their carers to meet other individuals and volunteers so as to share experiences and signpost where support may be found. We also provide outings and other functions for their enjoyment. There is a support fund run by the trustees to assist carers as needs arise.

The charity's object is to advance the Christian Faith as set out in the Doctrinal Basis and to relieve elderly, poor, sick, disabled, or infirm persons, and for those purposes, among other activities, to provide residential accommodation for such persons administered to the glory of God.

Provides young musicians with the opportunity to play an instrument within a symphony orchestra. The charity provides the young musicians with dedicated tutoring and the opportunity to play two prestigious concerts in a year. Concerts are open to all the community and are advertised locally.

Volunteers are Christians with a love and concern for society. They are available to help people coming out of pubs and clubs to find their way home safely on Friday and Saturday nights. They will provide support through signposting, giving out flipflops, handing out water, picking up and disposing of glass bottles, and waiting with those in need of medical support from the Ambulance service.

MindOut LGB&T Mental Health Project provides advocacy, casework, counselling and peer support groupwork for lesbian,gay,bi-sexual or transgender people with mental health issues and training for organisations and communities in LGB&T mental health awareness.
