The charity continues to make donations to support the Heal Project in Zambia which runs a school for 300 children up to Zambian school grade 7 and an orphanage housing about 35 children ranging from 3-15 years old.All funds donated continue to be remitted to Zambia with no UK costs other than money transfer fees. All work on fundraising and administration is done by volunteers.

SPARKLERS our parent and toddler group began in October 2007. Average weekly attendance is 40 adults and 50 children.IGNITE our youth project has run a drop-in centre since November 2008. On average, 25 young people use the facility weekly.Treasures our outreach to Senior Citizens launched in April 2011. It's purpose is to enable those who might be isolated to socialise with others.

The Merchant Navy Association is a maritime charity that represents all seafarers in the UK and has the additional benefit of MNA branches in local communities. Children of Gambia Services (CoGS) vision is to advance the education and well being of children aged between 3 and 7 years of age by building and equipping nursery schools in The Gambia, enabling children within local communities to access pre-school education and to provide sponsorship for all children attending the nurseries - covering all costs associated with their education and health.

The charity's principal activity is the support of charities through the payment of donations and grants. During the period ended 30 September 2018, the charity has provided its support to Shelter (Chennai) and Brighter Future (Tamil Nadu). They are charitable organisations based in India which provide homes and support to vulnerable children & their families in the community.

Full day care nursery for children aged 2 - 5 years, open each weekday from 08.00 to 18.00 for 50 weeks of the year. It also provides morning/afternoon sessions which are funded. Children come fron the local estate and surrounding area. It supports a number of children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and a number of children who speak English as an additional language.
