We are a Male Voice Choir who learn music and song to enable us to sing in concerts to help raise monies for other charities. The Project was set up in 1981 by local people for local people to provide community facilities for disadvantaged groups living in the Calder Valley, Luddendenfoot and Todmorden of Calderdale. In addition to developing a number of local community initiatives and not-for-profit social enterprises, the Ground Floor project runs the Salem Community Resource Centre, housing 28 community groups.

Stickford Community Centre provides facilities for members of the public and residents of Stickford. These includemeetings/activities eg Parish Council Meetings, Stickford Ladies Social Circle, Keals Club, Relax and Craft Group, Local History Group, Coffee mornings, Bingo and other fundraising events. It is hired as a training venue and used as an emergency facility in case of flooding, etc.
