Truro Choral Society is an unauditioned mixed choir of approximately 150 members. Rehearsals are held weekly to prepare for three/four public performances each year. These take place in Truro Cathedral/local churches.

In our own small way Caterham Overseas Aid Trust are committed to help the two thirds of the desperately poor people in Third World countries help themselves. By way of recognised NGOs working on the ground, such as Self Help Africa and Practical Action and other small charities, we finance projects which will enable local self-help and development of individuals. Transporting Disabled and elder in and around Devon

Phab supports a network of around 150 clubs in all age ranges, offering activities which all members can share and enjoy together. Phab runs the Integrated Living Experiences and Skills for Independence projects at fully accessible activity centres. Phab organises conferences and forums across the regions, with workshops, training, advice and group discussions.

Runs the village hall and maintains the community park and childrens play areas for the benefit of the local and wider community. Supports a number of user groups (eg childrens activities & exercise classes), fundraising activities (eg quiz nights) and private hire. The new Hall opened in December 2010 enabling the scope of activities provided for Great Dunham and neighbouring villages to expand.

Our group is a member of The Arts Society (formerly NADFAS)-group number 18, founded in 1969. The society's aims are to educate our members in all aspects of the arts by means of regular lectures, study days and visits and to support young artists and craftsmen by contributing financially though our own bursary scheme, The Anne Stevens Bursary, and supporting local arts and heritage projects.
