We are essentially a social organisation with more than 80 different groups that offer every opportunity to LEARN, LAUGH,LIVE.

Faith In Action Merton Homelessness Project operates a Drop-In centre for street sleepers and the vulnerably housed, offering friendship, hot meals, showers, washing machine, fresh clothes and help with moving on. It also provides accommodation in a Winter NIght Shelter.

Betws Family Centre provides a safe, non-judgmental, homely environment for families to meet others, for parents to receive mutual support and for children to gain valuable childhood experiences. The primary focus of the centre is to work with children and families to reduce stress, prevent family breakdown and support families to enable them to continue to live together in their community.

We hold three services each month in our Grade 2 Listed Chapel. We support a number of organisations and local Hospices each year from chapel donations. Our Hall is used most days by various groups a Spiritualist group and the local Society of Friends.The Chapel members also use the Hall for the Members' monthly buisiness meeting.

Whitstable Community Centre exists to facilitate all such activities and voluntary services as together provide a Centre for the whole community.

Playwell's aim is to advance the education of children below compulsory school age in a safe environment. Lantern Arts Centre is a performing arts centre with a Christian ethos. It serves the local community by providing a wide range of performances, clubs and classes which all are welcome to attend and/or take part in. Activities include two performances a year, Childrens' Theatre Clubs, Cafe Studio and Theatre in Education - addressing topics such as bullying and obesity.

Encourage art, photographic groups and schools to use the park, portray their favourite scenes, and to display their work in the cafe if they wish. KIOTA supports the advancement of the rights, health, education and development of young people, mostly girls, in Tanzania at a community level. The majority of those that benefit from the projects are affected by abuse, exploitation and poverty. We are currently supporting a secondary school in Bunju B, Tanzania, with a focus on the education of girls.

ACA manages the Ackroyd Community Centre which is used by up to 20 Lewisham based organisations. The Centre hosts activities for children and parents with play and activities opportunities, a nursery, after school club, holiday play-schemes and parental support projects. It also hosts a range of educational and healthy lifestyle activities and manages the Elder People's Support Project.
