The Abbeyfield Braintree Bocking and Felsted Society Limited is a charitable company registered social housing provider. The Society operates two very sheltered housing schemes, an extra care scheme and a retirement village, providing accommodation, care and companionship for older people who chose not to live alone.

The Charity continued its support of the Bursary scheme at Coventry University, specifically supporting candidates taking degree courses in Engineering and related subjects. The Charity also continued it's policy of considering other appropriate causes primarily in the Coventry, Warwickshire and Midlands region.

Working closely with the Parish Church the Charity provides safe and comfortable Hall, stage and kitchen facilities either freely or with a small charge to any approved club, society or organisation within the Wirral community but in particular to those activities involving the young or teenagers. Kingston Choral Society was formed in 1949 and has 120-130 singers. Concerts are usually held in Kingston Parish Church. It performs four concerts a year covering a wide range of music from Bach to Gershwin and often performs with professional orchestras and high calibre soloists. There are occasional workshops and regular social and fundraising events are held.
