The charities principal aim is, and continues to provide support and encouragement to students of medicine & dentistry in the form of scholarships, prizes, equipment and other facilities associated with their educational development who are currently studying MBChB and BDS at Birmingham Medical School and the School of Dentistry.

Doncaster Mencap provides two gateway club nights ( Wed/Thurs) for members. A carers group has been established with meetings once a month over the lunch period with guest speakers. Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council now rent part of our buildin monthly, for use as a day centre for adults with learning disabilities. This is enabling us to bring our building up to standard.

The object of the charity is twofold- firstly to provide relief in need generally or individually to persons resident in the parish of Ilchester and secondly in the promotion of education of persons resident in the parish of Ilchester. Persons living in places other than Ilchester will not be considered.

The main objects of the charity are the relief of poverty amongst the ministers of the church.Although no grants are received directly by ministers, the funds are used for the benefit ofreligious institutions.

The Society publishes the journal "Architectural History", funds PhD students, makes research and publication grants, and arranges symposia, an Architectural History Workshop for graduate students, and study visits to places of architectural interest (including an annual residential field conference).

The charity runs a group of seven almshouses for elderly people.

We provide very sheltered housing accomodation.

The charity provides housing and facilities for up to 12 elderly ladies in 12 flats at 58-80 Mill Road, Deal. They pay the Trust towards the costs of repairs and maintenance and towards the heating costs.
