We are a Brass Band based in Sowerby Bridge. We provide free tuition and instruments to anybody wishing to take up playing a brass instrument and are available for any function. Woodland Corner is a village preschool, involving the local community where possible. We support the Primary School and at Christmas we are involved in the village Christmas Fayre. The object of Feeding Britain, is the relief of people in need, and specifically for them to access and afford food, and thereby alleviate hunger caused by the lack of opportunities or resources to obtain sufficient food.

The aims of the association are a) to educate the public on the importance of bees to the environment and b) to promote and further the craft of beekeeping. The association helps school, youth and adult groups learn about the world of the honey bee and provides beekeeper training.
