We are a church engaged with the wider community across all ages whilst still seeking to uphold our Christian faith and standards. Our community work includes nursery education, toddlers' work, youth & childrens' clubs. The wider community is served through our pregnancy advice centre, & our facilities are used by a number of outside agencies.

St Peter de Beauvoir is an active and busy church with over 170 members on our Electoral Roll. As well as our core pastoral mission, we have several outreach activities, including the Freedom Club, the winter Nightshelter, a Friday community cafe, and a Noisy Church for children. In our refurbished crypt we develop outreach and community partnerships.

Religious activities - Alton Methodist Church

We provided training on international human rights law. We supported pilot projects to improve the safeguarding of detainees' rights. We supported legal aid cases. We provided capacity building to Chinese civil society organisations promoting public participation, an end to the use of torture, abolition of the death penalty and protecting the rights of the disabled.

The Osmani Trust is a youth and community organisation operating in the East of London. It offers a range of services for young people and the community at large. These can be grouped into the following themes: education, training and employment; gang mediation, conflict resolution and community safety; health and sports; and generic youth club and holiday provisions.

The Council's responsibilities include the care and maintenance of St Peter's Church, the Court House, the Court House Cottage and All Saints' House, and also for the maintenance of parts of the Three Close Lane Cemetery.

Baraka Community Partnerships pbjectives are to promote sustainable development for the benefit of Disadvantaged Communities and to advance the education, healthcare and community life of the people in Disadvantage Communities.The charity is currently working with Disadvanataged Communities in Morocco, Zambia and Laos.

ST DAVID'S COLLEGE PTA RAISES MONEY THROUGH FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES E.G. QUIZ NIGHTS, FAIRS, TEA PARTY ETC. THE MONEY RAISED IS USED TO PROVIDE THE SCHOOL AND ITS PUPILS WITH ADDITIONAL RESOURCES & EQUIPMENT AND TO SUPPORT OTHER CHARITIES AND LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS WHILST AT THE SAME TIME SEEKING TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PARENTS, STAFF AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH THESE EVENTS

We provide for prayer and worship on Sunday and Tuesday .We hold coffee mornings four days a week where we also offer physical, spiritual and pastoral refreshment and support.Our premises are used by a range of organisations and charities. We give support to groups that work with asylum seekers and refugees.We work ecumenically in the city centre.

We are a church committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to the local community of Weymouth and surrounding area. Our 'strapline' is "Sharing the Gospel, Making Disciples" and to that end there are many regular activities for people of all ages. We provide engagement in popular music for young people across Tendring and Essex in what are primarily deprived areas. We also operate other programmes helping emerging artists understand routes into the music industry, work placements and internships. We also work with young people in live sound and events.
