Swansea Little Theatre promotes drama in Swansea and surrounding district. We put on six major plays a year. We bring theatre to distant parts in our outreach programme. We have a regular youth theatre (7 - 18 yr olds). We enable other theatre groups, schools, drama groups to perform in a professional theatre environment. All members are volunteers.

The Charity assists those working in:those who have worked in or have retired from the licensed drinks trade in the following areas:(a)those who are sick ,infirm or distressed; (b) in the case of financial hardship and (c) the relief of ills consequent of old ageThe Charity through its schools educates the children from the general public but with preference to those working in the trade.

The principal activity of the LSO is the provision of a Symphony Orchestra for high quality musical performances, broadcasting and recordings and supporting this work with a music education programme designed to reach a wide range of people.

The Missionaries of Saint Francis De Sales is a Roman Catholic religious congregation whose main work is to share the mission of the Roman Catholic Church, to be involved in parish renewal and education, in the spirit and model of St Francis de Sales.

The money is used for young people who have left school and gone onto further education i.e. universities, NVQ courses to help them with books etc. Also organisations in the village i.e. school, brownies, play group.

Provide the highest level of care in our kennels and cattery to re-home unwanted, abandoned, stray, lost or neglected pets in loving, responsible homes. Provide educational events and activities to inform adults and children in responsible pet ownership and care. Provide a support scheme to help local vulnerable pet owners with care for their companion animals to prevent loneliness and isolation.

We provide a variety of social and leisure activities and opportunities for our members who have a learning disability and/or SEND needs (extended to family members, guardians, carers). This includes social activities, such as discos and games groups, as well as cooking groups to enhance life skills, as well as drama and arts groups to promote creativity and freedom of expression.

As a local civic society we organise educational activities to encourage awareness of local heritage. We hold seminars to share best practice with similar towns and we make recommendations to the local councils on the physical and economic development of the town. Friends of Brooklands School (from now on known as FOBS) charity aims are to raised funds to enhance the curriculum and provide opportunities above the curriculum for the children of Brooklands School, all of whom have severe, profound or complex learning difficulties, including autism.

Re-Instate is a charity working to improve employment opportunities, quality of life and well-being for disadvantaged people including people experiencing mental ill-health, people with learning disabilities and young people.A key part of the vision for Re-Instate is the provision of employment services that build sustainable recovery for people experiencing mental ill-health.

The society produces an annual musical show for the general public in the mid Cornwall area to enjoy entertainment at a local theatre. For the members of the cast and stage crew it gives education in performing arts and technical matters. The society engages a professional Director and Musical Director. The society welcomes children and young people where the script or score allows.

The charitable trust owns and maintains a substantially restored medieval castle. This facility which is open to the public all year round includes a gift shop, heraldry centre and a cafe. Various daytime and evening events take place, particularly during the summer months. Northern Ballet is a classical ballet company which tours for approximately 26 weeks each year to 18 cities within the United Kingdom. Performances are narrative, theatrical and dramatic and are accessible to a diverse range of audiences who would not otherwise see the highest quality of dance. Northern Ballet is also committed to advancing education in the arts through training and workshops.

Our charity provides a village hall as a permanent war memorial to those who lost their lives in World War 2. Cultural education and development through rehearsal and performance of choral music

We promote and support educational and recreational facilities for children and adults regardless of their physical or mental ability to enable them to ride, enjoy and learn about horses & ponies. We also participate in prevention of cruelty to all equines, and in improving the standard of horses & ponies by promoting selective breeding and researching matters relevent to equine health.

The Trustees endeavour to manage Hadspen Village hall as a community centre for social, educational and recreational activity for all the residents of Pitcombe, Hadspen and Cole and the surrounding area.

WE PROVIDE THE FACILITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BOTH LOCALLY AND OTHERWISE TO CARRY OUT A RANGE OF DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT VARIOUS EVENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUND-RAISING, EDUCATION AND BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER. Stourton Memorial Hall was built by the late Sir Henry Arthur Hoare as a permanent memorial to his son Captain "Harry" Hoare and other local men killed in WWI.
