The education of middle aged and older people

We are a pre-school group that was opened in September 1989 to serve the needs of the local community and have since gone from strength to strength. We are a member of the Early Years Alliance and have adopted their constitution. We have approximately 20 children aged between 2 and 4 on our register.

To provide preschool education to children, aged 2-4 years old, in Galmington, Comeytrowe and surrounding local Taunton areas. In line with the EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted inspection framework, we provide educational play, development and care. Activities are provided within the community hall and a secure outside play area.

Bollinbrook Pre-school is a fully inclusive setting which provides care and education for pre-school aged children. It opened in 1989 in the Bollinbrook area of Macclesfield and serves up to fifty four families from the community.

The charity operate a preschool and offer wrap around care in the form of a breakfast and afterschool club for children aged up to 11 years. The charity is run by a committee of volunteer members, mainly parents of children attending the preschool. There is an appointed preschool manager responsible for the staff and daily running of the group.

Provision of early years education for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years.

We provide play and learning experiences as included in the Early Year foundation stage curriculum for children aged 2 years to school age. Our sessions are 3 hours long and include games, activities, outside play and a snack.We are Ofsted approved and all staff are qualified and DBS checked. We have experience of children with special needs and for who English is not their first language.
