Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre teaches riding, horse care and therapy to children and young people. Many of the children are disabled and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Lincoln Cat Care is a charity working in the interest of cat welfare within approximately 30 mile radius of Lincoln which encompasses the Newark area. We provide the following services. K9focus is a rescue which has the sole aim of rescuing abused and abandoned dogs.

Marias Animal Shelter is based in Probus.As a charity we try to help as many animals as possible, who have been abandoned, abused, neglected or are unwanted. The farm animals that have entered the shelter will stay with us for life, whereas the small animals, when ready will be put up for adoption. If for any reason they cannot be re-homed, they will stay at the shelter for life.

Our main focus areas are: campaigning for freshwater & marine protection, reducing plastic pollution & overfishing in our seas and marine rescue & rehabilitation.

Provision and maintainance of a trained and equipped rescue team to provide assistance to the emergency services and communities during adverse weather, accident or other incident / event.

Members are aged from age 8 years old. The children progress through the RLSS and SLSGB awards which allow them to become part of our patrol team who provide water safety cover at various river and lake-based events throughout Wychavon and wider each year. We enter lifesaving competitions, in swimming pool and beach environments. We have a Flood Rescue section which over 18's can train for.

We are a Hedgehog rescue charity and we take in injured and sick hedgehogs, we aim to nurse the hedgehogs back to full health and then release back into the wild. If this is not possible then we have them put to sleep at the vets. We are run entirely by volunteers.

Lifeboat and inland search and rescue, including flood and cliff rescue and missing person search, on the Severn, Wye, Usk and other rivers, and across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and parts of SE Wales, Herefordshire and beyond. RSWT's objects are to promote the conservation and study of nature, the promotion of research into such conservation and to educate the public in understanding and appreciating nature, in the awareness of its value and in the need for conservation. The primary object of the Foundation is medical research in its widest sense with preference given to assistance with launching/initial stages of new projects and filling in shortfalls.
