Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native British hedgehogs. We admit hedgehogs from all over Cornwall and into Devon, working closely with vets and the RSPCA. A helpline is provided for both the public and vets. We attend events and offer educational talks, workshops and run a research program to improve hedgehog care and conservation.

Open to all applicants our Association provides opportunities for all members of the public to be involved in life long learning, animal husbandry and conservation.

Mount Lodge YFC is fully inclusive of all young people 10 - 26 years old. Furbabies Cat Rescue operates from the Birmingham area and rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes cats. Furbabies uses a network of foster homes to assess the cats and accurately match their personalities and needs to potential adopters. Rehoming criteria applies and home checks are completed for every cat in our care to ensure we secure quality homes.

Greenacres Rescue Limited raises funds through its charity shops and fundraising activities to provide care for animals in need. The charity rescues and cares for animals and aims to rehome them. Money raised by the charity is invested to provide suitable shelter, food & veterinary care. Volunteers contribute to the running of the charity shops and paid staff are employed to care for the animals.

Cryopreservation and future reproductive technologies for endangered animal species

BBA is a volunteer-led organisation based on Clapham Common, formed to promote environmental sustainability, food growing and the support of wildlife. BBA has three growing spaces including a large community garden with a field kitchen. These provide people with an opportunity to get outdoors to learn, share and practise horticultural skills, meet people and be at one with the natural world.

Animal Welfare and Re-homing Service

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING CARE AND SHELTER AND VETERINARY ATTENTION FOR STRAY,ABANDONED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS FOLLOWED BY A REHOMING PROCESS.

To promote agriculture, horticulture and forestry and to advance science and research in connection with these subjects for the benefit of the public and to promote the improvement of livestock and the prevention and eradication of disease in animals useful to man in particular in the Isle of Anglesey and other parts of Wales.

The team provides search & rescue facilities for use by police/ambulance services, mainly in West Yorkshire, but throughout England/Wales. The team also provides training and gives talks/visits to various interested groups, about mountain rescue.
