The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust takes young people sailing to help them regain their confidence, on their way to recovery from cancer, leukaemia and other serious illness.

Providing a free at home palliative care nursing service for persons who are suffering from Cancer and other life- threatening illnesses and giving support to their families and carers.

(1) research and education in the treatment of persons suffering from chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and related disorders; and (2) relief of such persons by (a) development and provision of policy guidelines for such treatment, and (b) promotion of communication and exchange of information between research groups and healthcare professionals.

Cornwall Hospice Care provides help and relief to people suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses by providing and promoting specialist palliative care to the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.The charity achieves this by providing In Patient and Out Patient specialist palliative care at its two hospices, Mount Edgcumbe Hospice,St Austell and St Julia's Hospice,Hayle

The association is established to alleviate the physical and mental distress of persons with cancer, of the partners and immediate family of persons with cancer and of persons recently bereaved through cancer. The Lewis-Manning Hospice offers palliative care for local people living with cancer and some other life threatening illnesses. The services offered by the hospice are day hospice, lymphoedema clinic and breathlessness clinic.

The charity provides financial support for the Palliative Care Service based at Salisbury Hospice, and for the relief of suffering in cancer and other terminal illness and the promotion of related research. The aim of the charity is to contribute to the funding of a full range of palliative care services from Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.

Melanoma Focus is a national charity dedicated to providing a comprehensive and authoritative source of information about this most deadly form of skin cancer. The charity funds education and independent research projects, acts as an advocate for patients and carers, informs the general public and promotes the professional interests of clinicians, scientists & nurses working in the melanoma field.

We provide help, support and friendship to women living with and beyond breast cancer. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the Cancer Support Centre on Smith Lane. Meetings are lively social events with pamper sessions, talks, visits and cosmetic/clothes parties, but always with time to talk. Our big event of the year is the fashion show, when all women models are from the group.

ELF aims to lighten the load by supporting families affected by blood cancers and blood disorders across the South West.ELF provides transport, a counselling service, accommodation, complementary therapies, a CAB-funded advice and guidance service, legal services through partnership and refreshments for patients and relatives awaiting day case appointments.

Leukaemia UK promotes research into leukaemia and other blood cancers and/or related disorders, and is pioneering the development of improved care and support to those affected . The CIO changed its name from Leuka on 1st November 2019 following a merger. Its partner, Leukaemia UK was previously charity number 1150414.

The trustees continue to be guided by the objectives set out in the CIO Association document. The trustees are mindful of their need to be apprised of current developments in the treatment of leukaemia and related blood cancers and are therefore in continual dialogue with medical staff at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

We deliver free workshops and events to people affected by cancer, to help them live with and beyond a diagnosis. Our main aim is to empower people affected by cancer to improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing through proven techniques and exercises. Our services are free to anyone over the age of 18 affected by cancer living in North Tyneside and the surrounding areas.

Flamingo Chicks is an inclusive community tackling social isolation by giving all children, including disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer, the opportunity to enjoy dance and explore movement alongside friends. We also provide a vital peer support network for parents and carers, intergenerational volunteering, global outreach and advocacy.
