Auckland Youth and Community Centre is an active, vibrant and diverse community hub in the heart of Woodhouse Close, one of England's most disadvantaged housing estates. We are situated one mile from Bishop Auckland town centre. Our Centre, which opened in 1964, supports local people of all ages and needs with a wide range of activities, interventions, learning experiences and events.

The Green Heart of East London, managing 32 acres of metropolitan green space as a country park; providing environmental education for children and youth especially the disadvantaged; equestrian centre, rare breeds of farm animals and poultry, childrens nursery; cafe and shop; training opportunities for long term unemployed; volunteering opportunities galore.

Resources were directed into the advancement of the Christian faith both in the United Kingdom and overseas and gifts were made to both individuals and institutions for this purpose.We have continued to develop our mission of establishing people in their identity, purpose and calling as children of God in the United Kingdom and abroad through ministries that demonstrate God's heart of love.

OXSRAD is a unique facility, providing sports and recreation facilities for 400 disabled children and adults. It is located on the east of Oxford and serves many disadvantaged communities. OXSRAD also has many able-bodied members who use the facilities. This integration of disabled and able-bodied is one of the fundamental aims of OXSRAD and lies at the heart of best practice.

Club facilities given free of charge to aid charity events. This could be equivalent to a saving of £130 the usual charge for hall hire & bar staff. Our premises are used free of charge by The Bristol (Stockwood area) Stroke Club. Also the premises have been offered free of charge to Bristol Children's Hospital for disabled children during school holidays.

Sacred Heart is a Committee run pre-school providing Early Years care and education for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years.

The charity's aim is to give cardiac patients within North Gwent one of the best rehabilitation services within the UK. Fundraising activities throughout the year help us to achieve our aims in order to improve patients quality of life. Current activities include - sponsored walks, raffles, membership and cardiac rehabilitation classes.

The Therapy Garden works to have a positive and significant impact on the lives of people facing challenges in life. Whether by helping to equip young people who have additional learning needs for a future in the workplace or reducing the isolation of a stroke survivor. We change lives for the better and we do that by creating a safe place to enjoy the power of gardening connecting with nature.

Provide transport for our less able clients to take them to hospital appointments and doctors surgery. We also take them shopping, to stroke clubs, hairdressers and dentists. These trips are carried out with our team of volunteer drivers.We also have a caring arm of Downton Link mainly befriending our clients who have lost their love ones or are lonely

This year has been a difficult year to raise money due to the recession. 4 people had their cataract removed in Bangladesh. At the moment we a supporting a family in Bangladesh on a monthly basis as the head of family had a heart attach and died we are sending them ?100 a month from any donation we are receiving.

THE CHARITY MANAGES A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD OF HURST IN ASHTON-UNDER-LYNE. THE BUILDING IS USED BY A RANGE OF GROUPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED BY THE CHARITY THROUGH ITS SECTIONS E.G. YOUNG AT HEART AND JUNIOR YOUTH CLUB.IT ALSO PROVIDES SPACE FOR ORGANISATIONS TO MANAGE THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE YOUTH SERVICE, POLICE SERVICE AND A RANGE OF VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS.

We reach out to those who otherwise have little access to the rich and transformative benefits of the arts and education. Responders provide immediate care to patients in their local areas where the prompt arrival of an ambulance may be delayed due to a number of factors. They are trained to deliver care in a range of emergency situations, including Basic Life Support, defibrillation in Cardiac Arrest situations, and oxygen administration in a range of conditions. Such emergency situations can occur at any time.

We are a small community centre based in the heart of Catford. Our aim is to provide the community a safe and welcoming place where people can participate in healthy activities such as sports, gardening and eating homemade healthy food. We have a beautiful volunteer lead community garden where we grow our own produce for people to enjoy our homecooked food.

Dulverton Town Hall is a community hall at the heart of the town, offering a quality accessible venue for local and other community organisations and events. The venue brings people together improving their health and well being. An adjoining Thrift Shop, run by volunteers, sells donated goods. The proceeds help the trustees continue to improve the premises and keep hire charges affordable.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK provides support and information to those affected by sudden cardiac arrest. We connect survivors, co-survivors and key supporters through peer support groups and share experiences online. We also raise awareness and educate the public and medical professionals about life after cardiac arrest. We operate throughout the UK.

FHWLT seeks to protect, improve and promote the route of the Heart of Wales Line walking trail from Craven Arms in Shropshire to Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, using public rights of way and roughly following the route of the Heart of Wales railway line. We do this by working with the relevant rights of way authorities. Our volunteers check the route and we raise funds to help to improve it
