Race on the Agenda (ROTA) is one of Britain's leading social policy think-tanks focusing on issues that affect Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities. To provide a range of accessible health and welfare services which improve the quality of life of local people. The Charity accomplishes this by running services including a Pre-school, Friendship Network, Health Advocacy Projects, a Community Stroke Service and a Mental Wellbeing Project. The hall and grounds are used by Bishop Monkton cricket, football, bowls and croquet clubs and by local groups for community events, ie. parish plan meetings, entertainments group, the Women's Institute, life-savers group, fitness classes and a school holiday club.
