Friends of the Beacon is the charitable body supporting the non NHS activities of the Beacon Centre in Guildford (part of Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care) a Palliative Day Care facility for persons suffering from cancer or other life changing/threatening illlness serving patients within the area covered by the Surrey PCT

The main purposes of the WI organisation are to enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public question, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. Working together to put into practice these ideals.

Exeter Community Initiatives is a registered charity which aims to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the Exeter area. We seek to increase people's self-esteem, confidence and skills, particularly among those who are disadvantaged, socially excluded, or experiencing conditions such as homelessness or poverty.

We offer before and after school care. Pre-school childcare for two to four year old, funded and non funded. Holiday club.

Oasis Charitable Trust is a family of organisations running community Hubs providing holistic support to the communities we serve. The Raglan Schools' Association is a Parent Teacher Association based at Raglan Schools in Bush Hill Park, Enfield. We exist solely to raise funds for both Infant and Junior Schools and are made up of parents, carers, teachers and Head Teachers. CAYSH provides housing, support and advice to young people (aged 16 to 25). Our charitable objectives are the relief of poverty, hardship, distress in particular, the provision of advice, affordable accommodation and support. CAYSH also established (and wholly owns) a Community Interest Company providing Concierge security services for residents of other providers' supported housing.

The pre-school is run by fully qualified staff and a voluntary committee of parents/guardians: Both are responsible for the day to day running of the pre-school and all the fundraising activities throughout the year: The funds raised are used to purchase equipment and toys which need to be continuously updated: The pre-school is open term times and takes children from 2yrs to school age.

PRIVATE SCHOOL - FEE PAYING

The teaching of courses with DVDs on Qur'anic Arabic are benefiting adults male and female in Birmingham but thousands of people internationally on satellite TV. The QAF project on Bayt al-Qur'an, the House of Wisdom and Peace, the first of its kind in the West. It will attract scholars from the world over, who will be benefiting from a large number of Arabic manuscripts in Europe.

To provide support and financial help to local organisations of all age groups and provide opportunities for young people to participate in various activities to help character development.

We pick-up unwanted furniture and household items from the general public which would otherwise go to landfill and sell them on at a reasonable price to the general public.

Making financial grants to organisations and charities both locally, nationally and internationally

The support and provision for work experience and in house training for adults and young people with disabilities and /or learning difficulties within a community recycling centre. The beneficiaries are placed at CROW by Social Services and other statutory and voluntary agencies in the Coventry/Warwickshire area.

Pre school playgroup for children in the surrounding area.

A playgroup for children aged 2 1/2 years - 5 years old. Children take part in a wide range of activities covering the 6 areas of learning, following the early years foundation stage, which typically includes a summer trip to either Cotswold Farm Park or Hatton Park, a Christmas production, an easter egg-stravaganza for parents and children and a sports day.

The purpose of the Association is to help fund and provide facilities or items for education at the school not provided from statutory funds. Fundraising activities include: Christmas and summer fayres, sports day, sale of school calendar, jumble sales, fashion shows and various social events.

The Wheelchair Fund provide electric wheelchairs scooters and other equipment for those that are turned down by other bodies. All the equipment we supply are on loan from the fund and get returned to the fund when no longer needed.We also have our own Second hand Charity shop, we sell all donated items to make funds to buy equipment.

To advance the all round development of pupils attending Ashford School in any of its constituent parts by engaging in any activities which support the school. To promote the experience of pupils attending the school. To encourage the relationship between Ashford School and the wider community and to support the schools strategic direction.

Little Marlow Scool PTA raises funds to further education at the school , assist with maintenance and purchasing of equipment and organises activities for the enjoyment of the children and their families.
