No buildings

Clients from Grove and the surrounding area attend our purpose-built Day Centre in Grove which is open every Tuesday and Thursday (excl. Christmas). We employ several part time staff and also have several volunteers. Home cooked meals are provided each day. Activities include supervised care, entertainment, arts and crafts, stretching or other gentle exercise and mental stimulation games.

Pride in Gloucestershire runs activities to bring the LGBTQ community together in a safe space and promote equality and diversity. FS Bulwark encourages young people into responsible adulthood using the customs of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. AFOT rescues abandoned, abused and street animals. We do this by placing the animal in an AFOT foster home where it stays for the four month minimum compulsory travel wait. We promote our dogs on our website and invite applications from members of the public. Thorough checks including home checks are carried out for suitability. The animals we help are predominantly from the SW of Turkey.

Our policy is to give grants at the discretion of the members of Chelmsford Lions Club following investigation and recommendation of the Trustees.
