THE CHARITY RUNS A CHURCH CALLED NEW LIFE IN CHRIST MINISTRY (LORDSWOOD), IT SUPPORTS SINGLE PARENTS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE ON LIMITED INCOME BY PROVIDING FOOD AND CLOTHING.

Prayer services held twice daily, where discourses, aarti, kirtan, dhun and stotras are performed. All persons are welcome to the services.All religious festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm.Learned Sadhus from India visit the temple and hold special discourses.Promoting the faith to new and young members is achieved through Youth Services and Gujarati classes, which are well attended.

The charity focuses on delivering contemporary music education for young people and provides access to the tools and training for them to make the music that they love.

The Lions Club of Looe organises numerous public fundraising activities (such as car boot sales and lotteries), public participation activities (such as Carnival Week, Easter egg hunt and the arrival of Father Christmas) at which funds are also raised and also activities that are purely organised for the benefit and enjoyment of others (such as seniors Chritmas parties).

Welton and Brough Sports Club is available to the whole community to enjoy sports, general healthy wellbeing and friendship throughout the year. The Community seeks to relieve poverty by providing practical help to the poor and destitute in the form of food, clothing emergency financial assistance for utilities as well as providing support through home and nursing home visits.The Community serve the poor and wider public through prayer and spiritual instruction and encouragement, including monthly prayer groups and retreats.

An urban care farm and community garden situated in Marple, Stockport, our aim is to increase the life chances of vulnerable young people and adults with neurodiversity and/or mental or physical health issues through wellbeing, volunteering and employment opportunities, and to provide access to heritage, nature and the environment for those less likely to connect due to social disadvantage.

Candy Cane Rescue aims to provide a safe environment in which greyhounds and other breeds rescued from China and from other regions with no/poor welfare laws can be cared for. After rescue, the dogs are brought to local vets and when their health allows they travel to the UK/US to their forever, loving homes.
