Our charity actively supports vulnerable people, young people released from the prison and people who are homeless. We are currently actively running a Foodbank scheme and have recently acquired premises from Coventry City Council to allow us to set up a charity shop providing low cost clothing and household items for those on low incomes.

The CIO promotes an annual half marathon competition in Tonbridge, Kent and from the surplus funds generated by the event makes donations to a number of charities.

A particular focus of all our activity is helping us to help ourselves as a community. A childhood cancer charity providing a holiday home for respite to families affected by childhood cancer. Research into cancers in children in particular high grade brain tumours which are under researched and have low survival rates, in some cases terminal at diagnosis. Raising awareness of childhood cancers and providing educational support to children and general support to the families.

The Charity's purpose is to prevent/relieve poverty or financial hardship among former personnel of the Armed Forces, their dependents and carers in such way as the trustees think fit. It provides grants, items and services to such individuals in need. The Woodland provides a place of reflection and remembrance for the families/friends of former service personnel and a public memorial.

THT runs a range of activities to inform the public about the heritage of the Tavistock area, including guided walks, lectures and open days. Our main project is the restoration and repurposing of the Tavistock Guildhall to create a new Visitor Interpretation Centre which will introduce visitors to the history of the town and the Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.

The Mutts Nutts Rescue are based in Stamford, Lincolnshire and they operate in this area (which includes Rutland, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire) helping the local elderly and acutely or terminally ill members of the community with their pets when they can no longer manage alone

Our activities include an annual May Fayre, Car Boot Sales, Charity Golf Day, organisation of the Christmas Festival Parade. Warwickshire Hearts provides trained, community based volunteer response to 999 emergency calls in South Warwickshire. It does this in partnership with West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (WMAS) and is mobilised by the WMAS Emergency Operations Centre. It also provides free CPR and Automatic External Defibrillation training to communities in South Warwickshire and areas nearby.
