Second Time Around is a charity furniture restoration project that recycles unwanted or donated wooden furniture. Our vision is training and volunteering opportunities to promote social inclusion and independance for adults with learning disabilities.

The project runs weekly meetings, day trips and overnight residentials for young people. The varied program includes the opportunity to interact with peers in an unstructured environment, organised outdoor and adventurous activities and opportunities for service to the community such as litter picking or maintenance of local amenities such as parks and woodlands.

Lewis Pugh Foundation (LPF) promotes, for the benefit of the public, the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and ecological environment, particularly the marine environment. LPF also provides education and disseminates information about the marine environment and the importance of its conservation.
