The group provides scouting activities to children and young people in the villages of Fair Oak and Horton Heath. The group runs a beaver colony, cub pack and scout troop. A full range of weekly activities is provided in school term times, together with regular outdoor pursuits and camps

The object of the Band is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in particular brass band music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Band through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

Providing an outdoor pursuits and Study Centre for use predominantly by school age children from the Orpington/Bromley/Kent areas, but more widely as availability allows. We ensure that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to this facility through our charging policy. We are a short to medium term homeless hostel providing support for men, aged 25-60, in Watford with complex needs; primarily homelessness, drug and alcohol issues. We provide 24-hr support, in-house therapists, self-help strategies, supportive group work, signposting to external services, assistance with maximising benefits, advice on education and training and follow on support / resettlement.

We have refurbished the children's playpark, adult gym, skatepark and MUGA.

We are a volunteer run group with 60+ youths aging between 5 3/4 & 18, many of which are from one parent families. Many suffer from physical ailments, learning & behavioural issues.We fundraise so these children can be included in the activities scouting offers - camping, abseiling, residentials etc which helps to build confidence, self esteem & respect for themselves and others.
