The Woodingdean Community Association provides facilities within the Community Centre for all residents to access. It is used for functions, clubs, societies, teaching, group meetings, dance classes and also large gatherings for the elderly who can be housebound for the majority of their time. Mindful Surrey was established in 2020 to ensure that mindfulness training is available to everyone throughout the UK, regardless of circumstances. They run mindfulness courses, online and in-person, enabling people to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing. Support is offered to adults and children, with free sessions for people on low incomes, state schools and community groups.

Bishops Waltham Museum Trust maintains a Museum for the curation and exhibition of items of historical and archaeological interest relating to Bishops Waltham and the surrounding area. At present, the museum occupies an historic building in Bishop's Waltham Palace, run by English Heritage. We operate closely with the local community including local schools, and collecting oral histories.

Barnsley Brass is a traditional British brass band with a mining heritage based in Worsbrough Bridge near Barnsley.
