The money distributed is from investments that have been bequeathed to the village over many years. The income is distributed in doles to elderly people, to Students, to Village Schools, Village Hall, Churches and Chapels.The recipients have to live in the boundaries of the Ancient Parishes of Wrenbury Cum Frith. Newhall, Sound, Dodcot- cum- Wilkesley, Wrenbury, Chorley Sound and Broomhall .

Raise money to maintain the Hall through different activities. Regular users are Bowls, Community Council, Line Dancing, Circuits, Social Hub, Quiz nights and Singalongs. Greygarth Association is an educational charity. Its main undertaking is the running of a hall of residence in Manchester for university students, and formation activities for young people.

Fundraising activities might include a Christmas and Summer fete, pre loved uniform sales, disco's and other activities chosen each year.

We run a well-maintained and versatile Village Hall, built in 1936 for the benefit of the local area of Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven which is managed by a board comprising representatives of our user groups and co-opted members drawn from the local community.We are home to a thriving Nursery School, Guides, Brownies and several dance groups as well as hosting private parties and other events.

Independent Education

The charity provides financial help to young people in the parish of Wye up to the age of 21 for purchase of books, equipment and general support for educational purposes or advancement. The charity can also support travel costs to attend university or other higher education establishments. The charity makes grants to Wye Primary School for things not provided by the local education authority.
