The SAA takes in unwanted and abandoned animals (currently cats and rabbits). We provide care and veterinary treatment for them until we find them new homes.

We are the local Maidenhead and East Berkshire branch of the RSPCA. Rescuing listed buildings at risk within the conservation area of Warminster, if the buildings have been on the market for sometime with no other sign of rescue. Also, if asked by the owner of a prestigious building within the conservation area the trustees may consider donating a small grant towards the repair of a specific item.

The Sanctuary operates for the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of wild birds in need of care and attention through use of its Helpline, Email and Website facilities. CARE OF SICK AND HOMELESS ANIMALS

To advance public education in the study of and research into the river valleys and their conservation. Conygre Mead is a designated nature reserve and a County Wildlife Site.

We rescue Dunkirk little ships which are in danger of destruction and remove them to a safe place. We then attempt to organise their restoration using volunteer labour as for as possible and teach the art of restoration and operation of these vessels.

To treat and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wild birds and animals with the sole intention of returning them to the wild.To conduct and supervise environmental studies and research into wildlife rehabilitation. Grants for the religious and other charitable work of Quakers in Yorkshire and making grants for other charitable objects with an emphasis on religious charities, animal charities and charities for elderly people, children and disabled persons and for peace and reconciliation. The care and support of animals injured and re-homing of domestic animals at West Hatch RSPCA and the treatment of injured wild animals at the same centre.

Sussex Search and Rescue is the primary volunteer resource used by Sussex Police in the search and rescue of vulnerable missing people. Spirit of the Dog Rescue was founded by behaviourists, aiming to prevent the need for surrender wherever possible by training dogs and owners together, also to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in danger or with nowhere to go. Adopters have RBU and full support to achieve a lifelong partnership and our eventual aim is to obtain land for a purpose built rehabilitation and education centre.

To help and assist in re-homing Springer Spaniels to good approved homes , to aid and advise owners with problems with Springer Spaniels especially to help an owner to keep their dog rather than re-home it where appropriate . To ensure that the dogs recieve any veterinary care required before re-homing , assess the welfare requirements of the dogs and advise prospective new owners accordingly.

Funds are raised in the UK and elsewhere for the benefit and welfare of all animals in Nepal. The charity works with local partners to oversee and support large scale animal birth control programmes to humanely reduce the population of stray dogs on the streets of Kathmandu and other urbanised, high-dog population areas within Nepal. It also supports a vaccination programme against rabies.

Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team operates under the umbrella of the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation. It works under the control of local police forces to search and assist the police; in the Peak District, in wild & remote areas, in urban areas and in other areas when called upon to do so. All team members are volunteers. The team relies entirely on fundraising and donations.

'People & Wildlife in Harmony'We work in partnership with subsistence farmers in the Umfurudzi area of Zimbabwe, creating wildlife reserves on leased communal land. At the same time we lift their standards of living through education, health, infrastructure and employment.
