We provide education, support and practical help for Breast Cancer sufferers, after their diagnosis with counselling, complimentary therapies, consultants advice, information days and seminars , with the objective of improving the understanding and conditions of Breast Cancer

Arctic One aims to give opportunities to both able bodied and disabled people to enable them to "Get Involved" in Sport. In addition to this we are exploring the benefits of sport on cancer-related diseases. We have raised funds to purchase prosthetic limbs for people who need them to be active and have set up activities for those with disabilities.

Breast Friends Northamptonshire provides practical and emotional support for people affected by Breast Cancer in Northamptonshire and the surrounding area.

Supporting men and their families in Bedfordshire who have had prostate cancer (PCa), are undergoing treatment or who have been recently diagnosed and have to make a decision on which treatment to have. Also, creating awareness of PCa at exhibitions, fairs, well-being days and other events, undertaking free walk-in PSA testing days and helping to fund projects on PCa in local hospitals.

The Club raises money to support mainly local charitable causes (e.g. Food Banks) - but, in keeping with Lions objectives, also supports certain national and international charities (e.g. Prostate Cancer and LCIF Disaster Relief). We also provide 'service' in accordance with our motto "We Serve". Examples include being volunteers marshals at the local fireworks display.

We raise money by doing fund-raising activities in the UK. We support all attendees of Ward 6 who request funding regardless of their home address.

PAC HAS NO START-UP OR RUNNING COSTS: EVERY PENNY DONATED GOES TO THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER.

Hugs from Henry provide support to families with childhood cancer, neuroblastoma and childhood cancer in Plymouth and Cornwall. This is done through group events, hospital visits and new to 2019 our first respite home.We have regular contact with families through emotional advice, visits and events.

Under the KDFAS' Young Arts scheme, the society has wholly or partly funded a variety of projects involving local schools and one with a young offenders? institution. The Society also donated funds to a local charity which works with children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital so that they could buy art materials.
