Our aim is to promote knowledge and understanding of the local history and heritage of Langport and the surrounding area. We undertake research and disseminate the results. We publish an annual programme of activities, including talks, walks, visits and projects. We hold exhibitions and events, and publish books on local history subjects. We produce an annual magazine, Level Talk.

To alleviate hardship and distress caused by the break-up of marriage and family, and to preserve and protect the health, both physical and mental, of adults and children by the provision of a family centre that encompasses mediation and counselling services within the Warrington area.

The charitable purposes of Westerham U3A are to advance education of people who live locally to Westerham and who are not in full time employment but who are in their Third Age. 3Pillars Project works to prevent ex-offenders and young people vulnerable to crime from social exclusion and assists them to rehabilitate and integrate back into society. Through sports based mentoring, in custody and the community, we strive to transform the long term employment prospects of ex-prisoners, through structured apprenticeship programmes, paid work and support to gain qualifications.

The Charity, for the most part, raises and spends funds within the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme. Funds are raised from the public in various ways and distributed by way of grants to deserving causes, mainly groups. The emphasis is on Special Needs, the elderly and Youth. Currently approximately 5% of our outgoings go to our International Funding.

DE Caversmill Theatre Co. provide drama to all ages free of cost, we fund raise to meet all costs at the same time providing the knowledge and experience to improve the stage craft and also the social skills. Also we help to fund raise for others either by providing monies or making there awareness know to others in the community. This could also be providing volunteers to help out too.

The U3A members share their knowledge and talents freely with each other in informal learning interest groups. They create their own opportunities to learn in the ways that suit members best. As a result, members contribute to a wide range of engaging and stimulating interest groups in an atmosphere of mutual support and companionship. Members study not for qualifications but for enjoyment.

The provision of practical assistance and support for people with disabilities to enable such individuals to achieve their full potential by developing their abilities and skills, living as independent a life as the individual's disability will permit, maximizing their quality of life and development and occupation of their minds by pursing spiritual, recreational and employment opportunities.

Barnwell Baptist Church is located in the Abbey Ward of Cambridge and seeks to serve the local community as a place of worship, but also as a place to find help, support, care and compassion. Established in 2016, London Sound Project are a group of like-minded singers who get weekly in North London to rehearse contemporary songs, with bespoke arrangements to be performed with a professional band. We are an all-inclusive choir with a vast mix of abilities and ages. There are no auditions to join. We perform to raise money for local musical charities and endeavours.

Centred on Holt and the surrounding district, we offer social support and access to activities for those living with dementia and respite for their carers through provision of 2 weekly cafes, a home visiting service and a twice monthly afternoon cafe, plus information and advice on our website and newsletters, dementia awareness training and participation in local dementia friendly initiatives.

EFN brings together trusts, foundations, family offices and individual donors. Our activities take place in the UK and include convening, research, publications and newsletters to foster more effective environmental philanthropy and encourage more support for environmental causes. We provide trauma-informed treatment programmes for the prison and community sectors that consider the individual caught in a cycle of crime and incarceration and aim to humanise their process.

Dose of Nature is a mental health charity that promotes the mental health benefits of engaging with the natural world. We offer a 10-week nature prescription to individuals with mental health problems referred to us by their GP. In addition, we deliver wellbeing workshops to non-clinical groups in which participants learn about and experience the benefits of an increased connection with nature.

Provide training and employment for people with learning disabilities by running a cafe and gift shop in Chorleywood, Herts. People with learning disabilities will undertake supervised training in the cafe and gift shop allowing them to gain essential work experience and to work alongside others. Following such training, support will be given to obtain sustainable employment in the community.

Leaside is an open, welcoming church, seeking to live out Christian discipleship in worship and mission, providing:public worship, open to all; a home for community groups; pastoral care as needs are known; active support for initiatives eg Street Pastors; weekly community drop-in, including bereavement support; welcoming especially the elderly and those with special needs.
