Raising Futures Kenya breaks cycles of poverty and inequality through quality education, skills training, and wellbeing support. We are a drop in centre serving food to the homeless and vulnerable in the Newbury area. The preparation and serving of meals is our main function but we also provide groceries, tins, toiletries, clothes and bedding to those in need. It is also a place where people can socialise. We work with other organisations and agencies who can offer help and signpost those in need to the relevant groups.

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist Denomination. It does this through Sunday worship and activities for children and young people Mid-week gatherings take place for prayer, bible study, craft ,fellowship, and children's activities. The church hosts a food bank and community hub run by Hope for Belper.

We are a food club and we buy surplus food for our members from Fareshare, as well as fresh food fromlocal sources at cost. Members pay a small fee each week and get a choice of food. They choosewhat food they want, so unlike a food bank, this gives our members some control and choice, and dignity.The food club helps them budget their income and they also get fresh food at a low cost

We are a Christian-based network of volunteers with business skills and resources that we use to help create or develop businesses aiming to alleviate poverty. Activities include business start up training, mentoring and other support. We are currently especially involved in projects in the UK and Uganda but members' have are involved in other countries in Africa and Asia.
