TCS supports young people in northern Uganda who have been affected by exposure to armed conflict, in order to relieve poverty and mental distress and promote well-being. In 2022/23 we worked with over 170 families, providing support through grants for school fees and small businesses; and advice and befriending. We have also provided help with medical costs to over 250 children and adults.

Routes to Roots is a drop-in centre for those experiencing homelessness, newly homed and vulnerably housed adults in Poole. R2R provides a drop in centre and hot lunch Mon-Fri, showers, washing facilities and offers signposting to other agencies.

Wycombe Homeless Connection serves people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in south Bucks, working with volunteers, partner organisations and local authorities.Motivated by our Christian faith, we provide free advice and support to prevent homelessness and to reduce the harm it causes. We help people find a home and defend the rights of people who are homeless or facing homelessness.

Several Oxford churches together share the responsibility of running a debt help centre on behalf of Christians Against Poverty. We help people who are in debt, to work their way out of debt. We are Christians but work with people of any faith or none.

The Need Project exists to provide compassionate and practical Christian responses to all our neighbours who are experiencing the effects of poverty and hardship.
