The Friends Of Downsview raise money for equipment, to subsidise theatre visits and other trips, as well as run social events for the children, families, local residents and other stake holders. Amongst these events are The Annual Christmas shop, Christmas parties and a Summer Fete.

The International Trust for Croatian Monuments was offered £6000 for a garden but the gift was declined as funds were no longer required for that project.
