The charity has been dormant for the last couple of years due to other commitments. It is our intention to relaunch the charity in the coming financial year. We will look to expand our geographical reach as part of the launch.

We are a small friendly group who meet once a month to talk over any relevant topics and help with advice and information. Raise monies for eye hospital in India and help the children with education

To date we have built 2 schools and an orphanage, we have also built land with the intention of building a second orphanage. We are now concentrating on child sponsorship to help with the upkeep of the orphanage and the support of 83 orphans. The Orphanage building requires maintenance and structural improvements to its foundation.

Village hall was renovated in 2006/7, so income includes grants and large VAT returns which were transferred to a building account. Income for village hall is generally generated by the local activities, Y.F.C., W.I, a Yoga Class, Tai Chi class and Bowling club and the a small income generated by occaisional lettings. Normal income for a year would not exceed -ú10,000.

Pendle Community Enterprise is a Social Enterprise Project. We provide various activities for Young people, Old and Women only groups. Our activities include Music/DJ, Cooking, sewing Lessons, Pool competitions and Basic Computer skills for the young people and the Womens. We work with the Dissaffected and Disadvantaged people in the Pendle area.
