A project to get the Great Mill grinding flour again but this will mean repair of the Curb to allow the Mill to rotate and then fabrication of new sails plus fitting. The scheme provides transport for elderly, disabled and other disadvantaged persons with no private transport and no accessible public transport available to take them to hospitals, doctors, dentists, shopping and visiting partners in care homes.

Our aim is the rescue of cats and kittens abandoned, stray or feral. We work to rehabilitate and rehome cats who come into care and find suitable sites to relocate feral cats when not welcome and undertake neutering programmes to control populations. Wherever possible we also help to rehome pet cats who for whatever reason can no longer be kept by their owners.

To provide accommodation and all services at the Wollaton Village Institutefor the benefit of residents in the Wollaton Village area, in Nottingham, at very modest rates, so as to secure an income to maintain the structure of the building and to keep it in good, clean condition.The building is used by the Wollaton Preschool, members of the public andothers at modest charges.

Beckenham Division of Girlguiding UK runs a programme suitable to the girls aged 5-18 years. This includes senior section members 14-25 yrs and Trefoil Guild members age range 18-80+. All leaders run the programmes as volunteers weekly and give opportunity for residential experience etc.
