The Opal Foundation is a charity which is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and young people, enhancing their lives and giving them opportunities that may not have been ordinarily open to them.

Grove School Association works to run events and raise extra funds for Grove C of E Primary School in Grove, Oxfordshire. The money we raise is spent on extra opportunities and equipment for all the children at the school.

Children Reaching Children is a charitable organization based in Lambeth. It is dedicated to supporting the development of children through education music and the arts. We work with young people and adults from underpreviledged and minority backgrounds. We also support poverty stricken children in developing countries with education, food, and medicine via other nationally recognized charities.

General fundraising activities for school fund account

The Cambrian Road Recreation Ground was originally bestowed to Tywyn by John Corbett Esq. in 1889. It is an open play area for young children. Conveniently situated in the town, it is within easy walking distance of most residential areas. It has an adjoning car park, which is free for those using the recreation ground.

The object of this charity is to advance the education of the pupils of Ley Hill School by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Education Authority.

Referals can be made from bona fide organisations eg Minister of Religion, Social Workers, Health Authorities.
