The ARNO Charitable Trust has a single Corporate Trustee, the Royal Naval Benevolent Society for Officers, which provides financial support to serving and retired officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, QARNNS, WRNS, their Reserves, spouses, former spouses, families and dependents who are in financial distress.

The Trustees are holding trustees for the property of 12 Methodist Schools. They do not undertake any activity but operate under the direction of the managing trustees who have now been incorporated as Methodist Independent Schools Trust (charity no. 1142794).

The objective of the Trust is to establish an annual award for the study of the culinary arts to be awarded to men or women normally under the age of 30 years who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom.

Mossley Hill Hospital will be closing down in 2014. We will carry on providing the Wards and Heys Court until such time that the hospital finaly closes

1.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN AGRICULTURE,HOME CRAFTS,COUNTRY LIFE,AND RELATED SUBJECTS

To advance the eduction, training and welfare of adults with learning difficulties attending the St Owens Centre in Hereford, to foster good relations between the staff, the parents and others associated with the Centre, to engage in activities which support the Centre and to raise adequate funds to be used in pursuit of the foregoing activities.

To encourage and foster through sporting activities, usage of recreational village field, and to best manage such usage throughout.

Social activities for all age groups ,football tornaments ,netball tornaments.playschemes.outings to places of interest,oaps clubs.

TO HELP CLERGY WIDOWS AND RETIRED CLERGY IN CASES OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, PARTICULARLY WITH HOUSING COSTS. SOCIAL EVENTS ARE HELD AND THE SERVICES OF A DIOCESAN OFFICER AND VISITORS ARE PROVIDED.

The hall is busy each weekday and most evenings with many and varied activities which are well publicised on noticeboards within the village.These include games afternoon inc indoor bowls,bingo,art classes including one for portraiture,Quilting,patchwork,beading and embroidery,coffee mornings. and scouts.Weekends are usually let for private functions and/or concerts

NO ACTIVITIES AS THE CHARITY IS NOW DORMANT. THE ACTIVITY HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY THE CLARKE FOLEY CENTRE WITH EFFECT FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2006. ANNUAL ACCOUNTS FOR BOTH THE JAMES CLARKE AND SARAH FOLEY TRUST FOR THE ELDERLY AND THE CLARKE FOLEY CENTRE HAVE ALREADY BEEN SUBMITTED.

The main aim of the charity is the advancement of education in medical sciences through the provision of educational courses in addition the charity aims to provide and maintain equipment to facilitate research and to assist in the dissemination of its findings.
