THE CHARITY AIMS TO RAISE FUNDS BY MEANS OF SOCIAL EVENTS HELD FOR BOTH PARENTS AND CHILDREN TO SUPPORT THE CHILDREN OF SOUTH WITHAM VILLAGE AND SCHOOL. WE USE FUNDS RAISED TO PROVIDE ITEMS, SUCH AS EXTRA EQUIPMENT, PART FUNDING SCHOOL TRIPS, ITEMS THAT ARE DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL TO THE EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE & PUPILS ETC

We organise social and fundraising events, such as grand raffles, school discos, fetes, sales and live music eveings. We also provide refreshments at parent evenings and other school functions and organise seminars to provide information on key issues affecting young people and their parents.

Aid a Child provides grants to help children up to the age of 18 to improve their quality of life through the relief of poverty and sickness, the advancement of education and the protection of health. The grant can be paid to the child, their guardian or any organistion that supports children through charitable purposes.

To date we have built 2 schools and an orphanage, we have also built land with the intention of building a second orphanage. We are now concentrating on child sponsorship to help with the upkeep of the orphanage and the support of 83 orphans. The Orphanage building requires maintenance and structural improvements to its foundation.

Through the generosity of its donors, Little People in Need is able to support children attending school in Rwanda. The children are all from single-parent and widowed families, some of which are the poorest in the area. The donations to Little People in Need fund school fees, books, stationary, uniforms and a meal for each child.Without funding, many children will not receive an education.

We provide assistance to AIDS orphans in South Africa, in the form of subsistence, food, clothing, footwear, school materials and provide moral and spiritual guidance.We establish safe-havens for 'at-risk' children who do not have family, means of survival, or secure accommodation.
