Lonely Pawz provides a service that compliments existing local charitable work for Cats and Small Animals. The Peek a Boo Trust raise fund via walks, runs, Charity Awards dinner and canine related events. This is to raise funds for both Animal and Children's charities in the UK. We have supported Charities that are both large and small and to date have donated over £100,000.

Our main purposes are:To relieve the suffering and distress of hedgehogs in need of care and attention, and in particular by the provision of a rescue, treatment and rehabilitation service for abandoned, neglected or injured hedgehogs.To advance the education of the public into the care, methods of treatment, conservation and habitat of hedgehogs.

We aim to prevent or suppress cruelty and to relieve the suffering of animals; and to advance public education about animals, the animal kingdom and in the care and treatment of animals throughout the world.

Animals in Reach works with children and young people who are at risk of exclusion from education or struggling to attend through emotionally based school avoidance. Animals in Reach also works with disabled adults and adults with mental health difficulties. This includes but not exclusively, providing therapeutic and educational support through working with animals, horticulture and crafts.

Vets in Mind aims to to relieve the charitable needs of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in particular but not exclusively by providing advice and information about resources and support services available for the relief of mental illness and raising awareness of the problems in the veterinary professions associated with mental health illness.

The RSPCA South West Somerset Branch CIO is a charitable incorporated organisation and a separately registered branch of the RSPCA carrying out its direct animal welfare work in the area of South West Somerset. The objects of the Branch are to promote kindness and to prevent or suppress cruelty to animals by all lawful means.

FRowResource CIO is engaged in re-cycling, re-purposing, re-use of materials that would otherwise go to landfill and education of these activities to those in local community and beyond. This is undertaken through the charity shop, Second Life. They also work with other organisations including homeless, dog and cat rescue and metal collection charities or companies that re-cycle goods.

The North West London and South Hertfordshire Branch of the RSPCA takes in, rehabilitates and rehomes stray, abandoned and neglected domestic pets. It also provides assistance to members of the public on low incomes with treatment costs for their pets and promotes responsible pet ownership.

The charity supports the conservation, development, maintenance and investment in Hulme parks, consistent with their importance as the largest parks close to Manchester city centre. Activities include promoting safety, recreation, health and well-being for all users of Hulme parks, promoting equality and diversity through sports, arts, leisure, nature and play, promoting biodiversity and wildlife.

The charity is run by volunteers with no premises or paid staff. It runs activities and gets grants & donations to raise money to take in injured, mistreated or abandoned animals, mainly from National inspectors. Veterinary treatment & care costs are paid & the pets rehabilitated so that they can be re-homed. Specialist support is used for deep trauma. Limited welfare assistance available.

Amotherby Cat & Kitten Rescue is a small rescue based in Amotherby, near Malton. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray and unwanted cats & kittens in the Ryedale district & surrounding area, we have a number of purpose built pens at our base and are supported by a team of fosterers & fund raising volunteers.

Our Branch takes in rescued animals, fosters, and rehomes them. We offer assistance for emergency treatment as well as assistance with neutering. We provide a microchipping service and, where possible, collaborate with other local charities and food banks (for animal food) in helping with the welfare of animals. To help with raising funds, we manage two charity shops (Ampthill & Hitchin).

Managed by volunteer trustees - and reliant entirely on donations. We employ an Animal Welfare Officer, who works in the community supporting pet owners and answering call-outs to wildlife rescues. Our officer manages two pet food banks, offering vital support to pet owners in need. The branch also operates a subsidised Veterinary Clinic, ensuring affordable care for local pets.

To create opportunities to ensure their contributions are welcomed, and collect and share work through the Sanctuary Art Collection to promote equality, diversity and cross-cultural understanding.

Animal welfare, rehabilitation and rehomingEducation and training

The charity is responsible for the RSPCA Brighton Animal Shelter, which provides care, veterinary treatment and rehoming for unwanted domestic animals, including reptiles. The Shelter has a first aid and holding unit for injured wildlife. Over 3000 animals are cared for at the Shelter each year. The charity provides subsidised neutering for cats, dogs and rabbits, for people on low incomes.

Subsidies veterinary services for companion animals of residents in Bournemouth and the New Forest

Animal welfare services, including rehoming neglected animals, low-cost animal clinic; assistance with cost of neutering domestic pets to prevent unwanted litters; emergency veterinary care for domestic birds, mammals and other animals found sick or injured; emergency assistance with cost of veterinary treatment for pet owners on low income (defined by eligibility for means-tested state benefits).

Rehoming and welfare of animals

The Harrison Heritage Foundation is a grant-making charitable foundation supporting organisations in the UK and internationally across health and wellbeing, education and opportunity, human welfare, and animal welfare. The Foundation funds projects and initiatives that deliver clear public benefit, particularly for disadvantaged or vulnerable individuals and communities.

Animal sanctuary

We started this charity to help education in Uganda. One of the trustees is a wildlife photographer who spent some time in Uganda and saw the possibilities of being able to help. This was the basis on which the decision to help was made. Anything from scholarships to uniforms, sporting equipment to art supplies. We want to help schools in any form they require, not just in monetary donations.

The Charity rescues, rehabilitates and cares for neglected, abused and abandoned animals, predominantly former farm based animals. The charity also provides education services on how people can care for animals better as well as rehoming services.

PAWS Uzumlu UK raises money for the care of street animals in Uzumlu near Fethiye in Turkey.

We promote, provide and organise surf life saving training and qualifications in water safety, rescue, lifesaving, resuscitation and first aid. We offer over 15 hours a week of coached sessions in fitness, lifesaving methods, and lifesaving sport techniques. Members compete in lifesaving sport at local, national and international level. The club is open to children, young people and adults.

Provides grants to organisations in Nepal that support children's welfare, with a particular focus on child rescue (from trafficking), education and healthcare.
